When we woke up, there were many bugs dead on the floor both outside our bunk and in the toilets. Imagine your toilet floor layered with bugs! We had to be careful not to step on them while we continued with our morning activities such as washing up. After this, we assembled outside at the parade ground in anticipation of the upcoming event, going for the canopy walk.
 ants attack!
We took a coach to the jetty and a "sampan" ferried us to the other side of the jetty, which was the Taman Negara Park. During the boat ride, we could tell that the boat driver was very experienced from how he steered his boat. Upon reaching the other side of the river, we had to trek a distance before reaching the canopy walk. When we first started on the canopy walk, we were slightly daunted by how high we were above the ground. The canopy walk was also very shaky as we were supported only by a wooden plank(which was very narrow!) and in fact, we were also quite scared but at the same time, feeling excited. Our friends looked much smaller from the height that we were at, and we felt that we were almost able to touch the sky!

The stairs on the canopy walkway.

Slowly.. Don't dare to look down.

Getting scared.. =X Once we had reached the forest ground, we started for Bukit Teresek, which was just close by. Trekking up the hill, which included various challenges such as muddy soil and thick branches, etc. that we had to overcome. But as a class, we supported each other through encouragement! We were exhausted but satisfied and extremely elated when we finally reached the summit. The beautiful scenery at the top of the mountain amazed us! It was truly a magnificent sight.
 Trekking in process...
 the metal walkway!
After trekking down the hill, which wasn't as difficult as trekking up the hill. We helped each other down the hill by warning each other of the possible hazards along the way. Once we had reached forest ground, we rested for a short while before we headed for a nearby shore, where several motor boats were waiting for us. After having a delicious lunch on those very motor boats, we were finally able to start with our rapids shooting. The ride itself was exhilarating, as we were moving across the water at very high speed. We could see the rapids that were formed in the river, as taught by our teachers in the classroom. Everyone started splashing water at each other whenever two or more boats met-up and eventually everyone got wet from being splashed with water. We had a fun time during this activity!
 Rapids!!
The boat we used to "fight" on!
 Another raft. :)
When we returned to the resort, we were given around an hour’s time to wash up and prepare for the awards ceremony. At the awards ceremony, we were awarded prizes for titles such as ‘most co-operative class’ amongst others. Our class won the prize for "Best Teamwork"! Good work,3 Grace! After that, we were whisked away to the train station.
With that, we ended the fourth day of our Taman Negara Trip 2008. =)
